6 Best Non-Toxic Nail Polish Brands

I’ve started this journey of non-toxic living for awhile now and I’m so happy that I did. Once you start doing your own research into all of the toxic products out there, it’s so overwhelming and disheartening. Sometimes it feels exhausting learning about so many things that aren’t good for us and that is sold as “safe.”

I recently was in a popular department store and couldn’t find any non-toxic nail polishes. I felt very discouraged that stores don’t give you the option to buy more non-toxic items. That lead me to do some research. When i’m looking for non-toxic every day items, I consult the ThinkDirty and EWG apps on my phone or online. They have many brands that you can search or scan the barcode of the product to see its toxicity rating. A 1 in the app is good, an 7-10 is bad. And in between is moderate.

From that research, I’ve compiled a list of the 6 best non-toxic nail polishes to use and ditch those others! And, if your kids want their nails painted, you don’t have to worry that these are harming them either!

Not all colors will rate well in each brand. My suspicion is that its based off color. So, make sure to check each color before buying in the Think Dirty or EWG apps!
