5 Simple and Budget-Friendly Decor Ideas for Fall

Over the years I have collected all the different “trendy” fall decor items. The fabric pumpkins, lettered signs, faux flowers, etc. I’m sure I’m not alone either! At one time those past items filled our homes and made us feel happy. But times change and tastes change.

This year I really wanted a more refined, simple but budget-friendly decor for fall. And I am happy to say that I didn’t have to buy much to get the look I was going for.

Below I’ve listed my 5 simple and budget-friendly decor ideas for fall!

Enjoy!

1. Add Natural Greenery

Anytime you add a natural and earthly element, your decor already feels elevated and elegant. This beautiful brass-like vase adds to that with the wheat. If you dont have wheat, cut some branches with leaves from your yard for zero dollars! I added this creamy pumpkin to balance the whole look. 2. Something Old, Something New

I love decorating with anything old or thrifted. It’s so fun putting them on display, like this brass floral patterned vase with faux fall colored succulents. I like to decorate in “3s” so I included the wicker fruit basket for texture, find it here. And the wood cutting board for elevation. Find a similar one here.

3. Using What You Have

It’s actually pretty shocking how many things you already own that you didn’t realize would be great for decor! These cutting boards for instance, are a great visual and hide the electrical outlet. Functional and practical. 🤓 Here are similar cutting boards. I love my Aria diffuser from Young Living. It’s always on and adds such a pleasant touch and smells good too. This is our alternative to candles! I tucked away a grey vase I got from target with some dried Lagurus, a frame and a marble mortar and pestle to finish this corner of the house.

4. Add a Cozy Blanket and Pillows

We all have some cozy blankets and seasonal pillows laying around. Put them to good use! Drape over or place on your entry way bench (like I did here) or lay on your sofa or bed. Adds a simple fall touch without really doing much at all!

5. Wall Decor

Hang an old wreath (like this one here) to an entryway wall, above your bed or drape over a mirror. Want a tutorial for this wreath? Find it here!
