5 Easter Activities and Ideas for Kids
Spring is finally here! At this time of year in Central California, the weather is absolutely perfect! Unlike summer when it’s 112 degrees and all you want to do is stay in the air conditioning. This year I’ve really been excited for Spring. Juliet is more active and is walking great…running more like it. ;) So the thought of her collecting her own Easter eggs will be so fun to watch this year. Easter (if you celebrate it) is right around the corner. If your little one is in the toddler stage, (like Juliet) these 5 Easter activities and ideas for Spring and Easter will be so fun and helpful.
1. Personalized Easter Eggs
We will be egg hunting this year with all the bigger cousins. Writing your toddler’s name on their eggs gives them a chance to find eggs during the hunt! And helps keep the bigger kids from taking them.
2. Attach Balloons
to Easter Eggs
This idea would be fun for all ages! Your little ones would love the balloons all over the yard and the bigger kids would think it’s a super fun and festive touch to the day! Photo originally from Celebrationsathomeblog.com
3. Large Table Top Coloring Banner
Need a minute of quiet? This large festive coloring banner will keep your kids busy for awhile! And it’s so dang cute. Purchase here! The banner measurements are 30"x120". It’s large and in charge.
4. Bunny Footprints
This would be so fun to do around the house every year leading to Easter baskets. This inexpensive pack of bunny footprints adds just the right amount of magic and festivity to the day. Purchase on Amazon here.
5. Easter Egg Hunt Yard Signs
How cute are these?! I was looking through Etsy and found these. Such a fun idea to add a special touch to your Easter egg hunt. Purchase on Etsy here.
Happy Spring & Happy Easter!
